April 7 (Day 4)

Note: forgot to post the last two blog posts, they are included beneath.


Today was quite tough. I ended up going for the 45-miler and I completed it. By the end, my legs were so tired that I almost crashed twice just trying to unclip. I definitely didn't take in enough carbs which is really what killed me. For senior project, if I can really take lots of carbs with me, this way might be better. The problem is if you bonk one day then the next day you'll be tired as well, and this is something I can't risk because my senior project leaves no room for rest or error. I think I'll split things up into smaller rides from now on.
